County Wicklow Chamber

County Wicklow Chamber, established in 2007, is a unique partnership of the Four Chambers in County Wicklow .

Each Chamber operates individually and joins forces to create a strong lobbying group, representing over 600 businesses in the County.

 "A united voice for Business”

As the voice of local business, your chamber understands that the health of your local economy is crucial to the health of your business. This is why your Chambers mission is to:
• Liaise on your behalf with local and national government to promote a strong local economy
• Use the national and international Chamber network to open doors for your local area
Our objectives include

Increased Infrastructural Investment
We are seeking major investment in roads, sewerage, water schemes and IT infrastructure as the first priority to attract increased commercial and industrial development.

Increased Commercial and Industrial Investment
We want a new approach to planning in the County as it is necessary to short circuit the many road blocks that can be placed by non-investment-minded bureaucracy.

Promotion of Tourism
We are seeking investment in developing increased Accommodation, Conference Facilities and other tourism amenities as well as an improved marketing strategy for County Wicklow as a destination of choice for the Domestic and European market.

Promotion of Retail Development
We are seeking to rejuvenate and enrich our Town Centres for Retail Shopping and to promote our Town Centres as an alternative to the mass shopping experience.

Enhancement of Marine Developments
We will support the development of Marine and Leisure facilities and support the Commercial Development and upgrading of existing Ports.
